About Me
Writer. Editor. Storyteller.
Strong opinions about commas and proper sandwich construction.
I’m a San Francisco–based journalist, copywriter, and content strategist with over 15 years of experience telling stories that connect—whether I’m reporting from the road, crafting brand campaigns, or interviewing someone with a great story (and ideally, snacks).
Editorial Work
My journalism spans food, travel, wellness, lifestyle, and culture. I’ve written for publications like Thrillist, Eater SF, BuzzFeed, Eventbrite, and Time Out, covering everything from haunted hotels to spa rituals to the best sandwiches in California (a topic I take very seriously). For nine years, I wrote a 49ers column for SFist, and yes, I once reviewed dog products with my Saint Bernard. As you may have guessed, you can put a 150-pound dog in a onesie meant to control shedding, but you can't make him like it.
Copywriting & Content Strategy
On the brand side, I’ve created copy and content for companies including Victoria’s Secret, Sephora, Blue Shield of California, MyFitnessPal, AutoDesk, and NorCal Cannabis. Whether it’s web copy, emails, social media, or long-form marketing content, I specialize in finding the right voice—and making complex ideas feel human.
I have an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from UNC Wilmington and a B.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. I love stories that surprise, brands that trust their tone, and the Oxford comma. (Obviously.)
